🌅 Suntherian
Therian Types & Shifting Styles
A suntherian (sometimes spelled "soon-therian") has an integrated baseline with gentle, dynamic swings — sometimes feeling slightly more animal, sometimes slightly more human — but without fully shifting in and out.
The term was coined in 2005 to describe therians who sit "in between": more integrated than someone who fully shifts, but more dynamic than a contherian. The animal self is always there, just rising and falling softly like a tide rather than switching on and off.
🌟 In Short
- You have an always-present, integrated animal side
- Its intensity gently rises and falls
- You don't experience full mental shifts into your theriotype
